The transition to motherhood is one of the most significant shifts in a women's life - physically, emotionally, and logistically. During the perinatal period, women face a heightened risk of psychological distress and mental health challenges. Without appropriate support, the costs can be significant, impacting women, families and workplaces in multiple ways.
Developed by maternal health expert Dr Susan Nicholson (PhD, BScHons, MBBS, MRCP (UK), FRACGP, DRANZCOG), this program is an evidence-informed initiative and aims to support and empower women to prepare for and adapt across the key developmental challenges of:
- Pregnancy at work (Module 1)
- Early Motherhood on Maternity Leave (Module 2)
- Successful Return to Work as a Working Mother (Module 3)
